FBC 2017 Summer Camp Registration Now Open!
Location: Bur Oak Secondary School – 933 Bur Oak Avenue (McCowan Rd & 16th Ave)
Lead by Technical Director, Kevin Li and Head Coach, Jason Mak.
Time: 9am – 4pm
Participants will have an opportunity to learn and improve a variety of skills for badminton in a fun and exciting environment, led by professional badminton coach.
All camp participants will have the opportunity to:
- Learn/ Improve skills including; strokes, footwork, and strategy for gameplay
- Meet new friends and work in a team environment
- Challenge their abilities with a variety of games/challenges and competitions
- Have FUN while staying active!
- Receive tips and advice from our Experienced and knowledgeable coaching team
Camp Includes: Camp t-shirt, Participation Certificate and Prizes
Four Camp Sessions will run during the following periods:
Week 1 – July 24 – 28, 2017
Week 2 – July 31 – Aug 4
Week 3 – Aug 8 – Aug 11 (4 days)
Week 4 – Aug 14 – 18
The following training levels will be available each week
L1 Beginner : little knowledge of basics of badminton (nylon birds)
L2 Intermediate: Able to serve, clear and return consistently (nylon birds)
L3 Advance: Able to play basic doubles with good technical skills. Desire to improve strategic skills (feather birds training)
Cost: 5 days camp (Camp Weeks 1, 2 and 4)
Cost: 4 day week (Camp Week 3)
Additional 10% rebate when registering for multiple weeks! (first week full price, early bird/regular price)
Note: Lunch is not provided; must bring own racquet, indoor shoes and athletic attires
