Ontario Winter Games (OWG)
The York District Badminton Association (YDBA) is thrilled to announce the opportunity to represent our district at the 2026 Ontario Winter Games (OWG) in Orillia, Ontario, from February 19 to 22, 2026! Please cascade this invitation to your club members and athletes.
Event Overview
YDBA will enter one team consisting of:
- 5 boys and 5 girls (two teams)
- 1 boy and 1 girl as alternates (will attend to Orillia)
- Age Groups: U15, U17, and U19

Athletes may only try out for one district. Don’t miss this exciting chance to compete and represent YDBA at the Ontario Winter Games! Please register promptly, as spots are limited.
Team Selection Details
- Event: YDBA Team Selection Tournament (Singles)
- Date: Sunday, November 23, 2025
- Venue: CAN Sports Centre, 1443 Denison St, Markham, ON L3R 5V2
- Time: 12 noon to 3 pm
- Entry Fee: $50 per athlete
- Registration Deadline: Sunday, November 16, 2025
- Registration: Visit https://federationbadminton.com/registration/ and submit the player’s full name and gender
